Kyle Slabb is a Gudjingburra Bundjalung descendant from the Far north Coast of NSW. He has been involved in cultural consultancy and education for more than 20 years.
Working on developing young indigenous leaders for the last 10 years has taken him and his team all over the country, from urban aboriginal communities to some of the most remote.
Kyle believes that every aboriginal person has a right to a cultural education, and the value of that education is a huge asset to their communities, also their employees, and our society at large.
This belief has been at the heart of developing many initiatives and businesses over the years. Successfully applying these cultural frameworks in many areas including Cultural Tourism Operations, Manufacturing and Leadership has been central to Kyle’s many successful initiatives.
Joshua Slabb is a company Director and facilitator with the Banaam team. Joshua Identifies as a Bundjalung/Yugambeh man and has a strong passion for sharing cultural knowledge with others.
Joshua has gained skills and experience working in many sectors including Environmental Conservation, Government, Sports and Business.
When Joshua has a spare moment, you will find him and his family surfing, fishing, and enjoying the rich cultural places, foods, and customs of his people and country.
Brendan brings to Banaam a wealth of business experience. He started his business specialising in financial modelling in 1983 and grew it to include consulting, training and software development specialising in market researching and manufacturing systems over 25 years for organisations including Telstra, Visy Board and ANZ Bank.
Training was a key to his business success and his passion for training culminating in designing and delivering one of the largest ever, community based national training programs.
